If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a good video is priceless. Here is a series of four videos from the MS Exchange Team covering High Availability in Exchange 2010. I think the database availability group (DAG)features in 2010 are going to be very important as we find companies looking for cost effective ways to achieve increased reliability.
The four videos cover:
- Database Mobility, Incremental Deployment, Database Availability Groups, Mailbox Database Copies
- Creating a database availability group (DAG) and adding two Mailbox servers to the DAG.
- Creating a mailbox database copy and monitor the health and status of the copy.
- Performing a database switchover using the Exchange Management Console and Exchange Management Shell. Also demonstrating the Outlook Web Access experience during a database switchover using Internet Explorer and Firefox.
It has been such a glorious summer with the nice weather. Made yesterday's heat and humidity even that more unbearable. I cross my fingers that we have an early autumn!!!
