PS-HTTPD is a web server written in PostScript. It started at a coffee table discussion at my work. We first talked about web servers and how everything seems to get one. Then we discussed the new Xerox monster printer we just got installed. I started to wonder if it would be possible to make a simple web server in PostScript. We've got a lot of different ways to communicate: Face to face, letters, telephone, email, social media sites, blogs, twitter, SMS, BBM.

Each method has its pluses and minuses, certain situations call for different ways to communicate. Some are warmer than others, some are two way, some are more on the one way side, and some are multi-way.

Blogging to me is more of a soap box. A one way message that can also have comments back. Blogging requires that you have something to say. Before I became a blogger I was known to write letters to the editor. Now I blog.
