Kindle for BlackBerry now Available

I just downloaded the newly available Kindle software for the BlackBerry.  It's pretty cool - you can download any of the Kindle books you've purchased (or even got for free) from Amazon and it even syncs your place with your Kindle device. 

You can download the software from your BlackBerry by browsing to amazon.com/kindlebb
or go to this page -Kindle for BlackBerry - and enter your BlackBerry email address to be sent a link. The software is free and no Kindle device is required. This will be especially handy for owners of the Storm and Storm 2 with their wonderful large screens, but it even looked good on my smaller screened Curve.

BlackBerry Certification Resources

I am preparing for Blackberry Certification and want to share some of the information I have gathered.

Research in Motion Blackberry Certification Information

There are three certification tracks:

• Plan and Design
• Manage and Monitor
• Support and Troubleshoot

Blacberry Certification Exam Guides are available online.  There are also two self-tests available from RIM that will help you asses if you are ready to schedule your tests.

• Pre-exam self-assessment for BCP-211 exam (Supporting BlackBerry Devices)
• Pre-exam self-assessment for BCP-420 exam (Maintaining a BlackBerry Enterprise Server v5.0 in a Microsoft Exchange Environment)

The Blackberry Certification tests are offered through Prometric Testing Centers.  The exams take  1.5 hours and cost $150.  ElementK sells study guide materials for the tests.BlackBerry® Coach Self-study Guides now available.  "Visit the element k website and search "BlackBerry" for the latest offerings and to order your copy today"
